Dream explores the layered symbols of womanhood—wedding, ritual, and memory—as they shift across time, culture, and personal experience. Archival bridal portraits are veiled beneath translucent threads and framed between elements that recall both architecture and ceremony.
Illuminated from within, the work blurs boundaries between surface and depth, revealing and concealing in turn. What first appears as an image transforms into an altar, a window, or a mirror, depending on where one stands.
In this interplay of light and shadow, Dream reflects the instability of meaning itself—how the symbols that shape identity are continually rewritten by memory, perception, and the passage of time.
