Hex Story
2020
paint
Installed on the courtyard walls of a student housing complex near USC, this stenciled mural series draws inspiration from the quote “Here’s history looking at you, Kid” (from Hamilton), emphasizing the power of the present in shaping the future. The hexagon—a symbol of perfection across ancient civilizations and modern coding—becomes a visual language linking past ideals to digital progress. Each pattern layer reflects continuity and evolution, inviting students to locate themselves at the intersection of memory and momentum.
