Letter Play No. 2 explores the boundary between language and abstraction through the disassembly of the Farsi alphabet—a script known for its elegant continuity and visual rhythm. Each letter, once part of a fluid linguistic system, is isolated, suspended, and mirrored within layered planes of translucent film.

By breaking the connections that traditionally bind these forms into meaning, the work exposes the architecture of language itself. The letters become visual entities—objects of reflection rather than communication—casting shadows that shift with the viewer’s movement.

In this quiet dislocation, Letter Play No. 2 invites a different kind of reading: one that transcends translation, allowing form, shadow, and light to speak in their own fragmented, poetic syntax.
