The Moon transforms the architectural envelope of a mid-century apartment complex into a site of quiet reflection and celestial play. Drawing from the property’s name, the installation reinterprets lunar imagery across multiple spatial conditions—balcony screens, pool railings, and a central courtyard sculpture—to create a dialogue between movement, light, and time.

Thirty custom panels, each etched or perforated with variations of the moon’s geometry, interact with sunlight by day and with artificial light by night, shifting the environment from serene to theatrical. In the courtyard, a full-scale lunar disc becomes both sculpture and stage—its surface reflecting human presence like a mirror of the everyday sublime.

By integrating art directly into the building’s architecture, The Moon blurs the distinction between utility and poetry, turning a residential space into a lived-in observatory where the rhythm of daily life aligns with the phases of light and shadow.
